The Center for Heliospheric Science

The Center for Heliospheric Science (CHS) has been established since April, 2022 and operated through collaboration of the Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research (ISEE), Nagoya University, the Institute of Space and Aeronautical Science (ISAS), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ). The CHS promotes "heliospheric system science" by providing the research community with a value-added science data archive and a community-wide data analysis platform and tools for heliospheric satellite data, ground-based observation data, and numerical simulations/modeling.

ERG Science Center

The ERG Science Center is operated by Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research (ISEE), Nagoya University as a Joint Research Center for Space Science. The science center archives data related to the ERG project, releases the data to the public, develops integrated analysis tools for the data, and promotes studies related to the ERG project.

Hinode Science Center

Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research (ISEE), Nagoya University and Hinode Science Project, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NOAJ) have started the joint-operation of the Hinode Science Center at Nagoya (HSC@Nagoya). This new center is built as a back-up site of the Hinode Science Center at NAOJ (HSC@NAOJ) and also as a leading site for developing a new research field in terms of Hinode and the database developed by ISEE.

WDC for Cosmic Rays (World Data Center for Cosmic Rays)

World Data Center for Cosmic Rays (WDCCR) was established in 1957, as a part of the activity of the International Geophysical Year (IGY) held in 1957-58, at the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) to provide with database of cosmic-ray neutron observations in unified formats. The WDCCR was moved to Solar-Terrestrial Environment Laboratory (STEL), Nagoya University, in 1991, and data-management works of the WDCCR were carried out through the collaboration with the Department of Environmental Sciences, Ibaraki University in the interval from 1993 to 2009. Since July 2009, whole works of the WDCCR have been done at the Geospace Research Center, STEL, Nagoya University.

RADARC311

RADARC311, a metadata base for searching information on radiation measurement data related to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, has been released. It covers a variety of data from government, local government, academia, private sector, and individuals, and can be searched by measurement variable, date and location.
