DMSP /NOAA Auroral Particle Data

Name: DMSP/NOAA Auroral Particle Data
Abbreviation: DMSP/NOAA-PARTICLE Institution: WDC-C2 for Aurora,

National Institute of Polar Research Contents: Auroral particle data measured by DMSP and NOAA satellite. The original data sets were provided by the NGDC in USA. The DMSP data gives precipitating electrons and ions every 1 sec in 19 energy channels from 30eV to 30keV. The NOAA data gives total energy flux and average energy of electrons and ions every 2 sec. The NOAA data also contains high energy particles data of electrons and protons. The data coverage and examples of data can be seen in "Data Catalogue in WDC-C2 for Aurora No.4", published in 1993 by the WDC-C2 for Aurora.

Data Availability: Based on the guidance of data exchange through the WDC system
