データベースの概要：
（和文）　データベース ERGDBは、データカタログやディレクトリ情報などを
          含むリレーショナルデータベース  (RDB) と赤道域地磁気データを
          格納するファイル群からなる。地磁気データは各観測点ごとに１日
          単位に１ファイルとして格納され、それらのファイルは木構造をな
          す。特定のファイルは、いくつかのリレーションの属性値を用いて
          検索される。即ち、ユーザはまず初めに RDBから必要なデータ集合
          を決定し、それに基づいて地磁気データをファイルから取り出す。
          地磁気データそのものの処理は、それを取り出した後に、応用プロ
          グラムにより実行される。
  　　　　STEPネットを通じて公開されるデータは、1993〜94年のキャンペー
          ン期間に　Yap (Microne　sia),　Maroua (Cameroon)、 Eusebio 
          (Brazil)で得られた磁場3成分の生の１分値である。
（英文）  The database ERGDB (equatorial-region geomagnetic database) 
          consists of a relational database (RDB) containing data 
          catalogue, directory information, etc. and a group of files
          in which geomagnetic data observed in the equatorial region
          are stored. The geomagnetic data are saved as a file per 
          day for each station and those files make a tree structure.
          A specific file is searched using attributes contained in 
          some relations. That is, the user first determines necessary
          datasets from the RDB and then takes the geomagnetic data 
          out of the files based on the datasets. The processes of
          geomagnetic data itself are executed by application programs
          after searching. The data which will be opened for the STEP
          community through the STEP network are raw one-minute values
          of three components of the magnetic fields observed at Yap 
          in Micronesia, Maroua in Cameroon, and Eusebio in Brazil
          during the campaign period from 1993 to 1994.
