| Contents | This database includes solar wind speed data obtained from interplanetary scintillation (IPS) measurements with the multi-station system of the Solar-Terrestrial Environment Laboratory of the Nagoya University. IPS measurements allow us to probe the solar winds near the sun or at high latitudes, which are inaccessible to in situ measurements, in a relatively short time. This database covers the period from 1983 to 2009 (at the present). Users can make various kinds of graphic plot on a WWW browser using the IPS solar wind speed database system.
