Space Weather International Collaborative Research Database in Japan
The ICSU-SCOSTEP (International Council for Science-Scientific Committee
on Solar-Terrestrial Physics) which carried out the STEP program (1990-1997)
and the S-RAMP program (1998-2002), has determined to promote the CAWSES
(Climate And Weather of the Sun-Earth System) program for 2004-2008 to
understand the short term (Space Weather) and long term (Space Climate)
variability of the integrated solar-terrestrial environment, and for its
societal applications.
The S-RAMP Database in Japan had been constructed to provide the
infrastructure for the S-RAMP program and to promote the international
collaborative research and disclosure of Japanese databases collected
during the STEP and S-RAMP intervals for 1998-2002. Successively we
have constructed the Space Weather International Collaborative Research
Database in Japan in 2003 for smooth continuation to the CAWSES program
which starts in 2004. In a portion of construction of the Space Weather
Database we have made the following CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs, and distributed
to the S-RAMP and CAWSES international collaborative research colleagues
in 2004.
We keep some more the CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs. So, we can send them
by request for the S-RAMP and CAWSES colleagues. We appreciate you for
your interest and attention.
